Life Gardening is a concept created by us and offered as workshops to organisations.
Since 2024, we have been enjoying working with Norfolk and Waveney MIND as part of their Nature Connect programme. Norfolk and Waveney MIND fund and support us to faciltiate these nature based, seasonal sessions.
If your organisation would like to find out more about how we can tailor make these workshops for you, 4 times a year, please get in touch.
We meet at the beginning of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and we use nature as a reflective tool, source of support and inspiration.
These sessions invite us to connect with what is happening in nature, and offer time to reflect on how we might notice similar patterns in our own lives. They offer an opportunity to connect with others, share stories and hear how interconnected our lives are with nature. Our lives also flow through different amounts of energy, times when we feel that inner sunshine, and also the inner darkness at more difficult times of our lives. Nature helps remind us of the ever changing flow of life and cyclical rhythms we move through.
One day I might gather a pocket full of acorns or conkers, marvel at the beauty of them, their colour and shape. This invites me to reflect on my life…What is beautiful in my life? What do I love and appreciate? Could I do more of that, have more of that? What seeds am I sowing in my own life? A new project idea? A new morning routine? Am I thinking about changing something? As the leaves begin to fall, are there things I would also like to let go of?
When we explore these reflective questions together we broaden our awareness of possibilities, where we might feel stuck and what our next steps might be for our life. It’s an alchemy of humans and nature!
Nature is where we come from and when we take the time to slow down and be in relationship with what we see around us, we feel uplifted, less alone, part of something larger than our individual life.
These sessions offer a gentle, informal and friendly space to explore our life like a garden!
Cups of tea and a beautiful display of nature is always offered, and these sessions are free to attend for anyone over the age of 18. Please see booking details below.
These sessions are currently held at Pilling Park Community Centre and Old Lakenham Community Centre.
